The cosmos is thought to be about 13.7 billion years old, the Earth dates back 4.6 billion years. Starting with the Big Bang and the beginnings of the cosmos, of our solar system and of planet Earth, this guided tour also looks at the composition of the Earth’s crust, its atmosphere and the special characteristics of our planet compared to other planets in our solar system.
