"Mein Museum für Naturkunde. Pate werden."
This sponsoring campaign aims at helping
to preserve the more than 30 millions specimens which are somehow hidden behind
the scene at the museum. The donations make it possible to store particularly valuable
collections in a more appropriate way or even to restore them.

New shares for old bones
You would like to support the scientific research on the famous dinosaurs at the Museum für Naturkunde which were excavated at the mount Tendaguru in Tanzania a hundred years ago? Why not buy a Tendaguru share then? This share is a quite special one. Its payout of dividends is in scientific knowledge, not in Euro or Dollars! Its increase in value is not measurable in money but in new insights in the spectacular, long gone world of Tendaguru.

Insect sponsorshipDid you know that our museum accommodates 6 million beetles, 4 million butterflies, 5 million bees as well as several million flies, grasshoppers and other insects? They are carefully marked and systematically sorted, forming a scientific collection for researchers from all over the world. To keep these collections in good shape, the insect boxes must be replaced by new ones now and then. With a single payment of only 20 Euro you can help us to protect valuable material for future generations. The sponsored insects box will then be made exclusively in your name.
