• Seit 2009 Projektleiterin (PostDoc) mit eigenem DFG-Drittmittelprojekt und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Museum für Naturkunde Berlin - Leibniz-Institut für Evolutions- und Biodiversitätsforschung an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
• Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Evolutionsbiologie, Biogeographie und Systematik von Süßwasserorganismen

Ich interessere mich im Allgemeinen für die Evolution, Biogeographie und Systematik von Süßwasserorganismen mit einem geographischen Fokus auf dem Malayischen Archipel. Derzeit erforsche ich die Biogeographie atyider Süßwassergarnelen (Crustacea, Decapoda, Caridea) an der Sundaland-Wallacea-Grenze. Ziel ist ein besseres Verständnis der historischen Prozesse, welche zur Entstehung der Artenvielfalt und deren Verbreitung in dieser Region geführt haben. Weiterhin bin ich an der Erforschung der Evolution von Höhlengarnelen interessiert. Im Rahmen meiner Doktorarbeit untersuchte ich die Garnelenfauna (Evolution und Systematik) der indonesischen Insel Sulawesi.
